December means Christmas party time!

Once again the SCUG Christmas Party will take place on the first Saturday in December to avoid a conflict on our normal meeting weekend.

On December 6th we will start the party at noon with a feast. The club will furnish Chicken George, onion rings, drinks and table service. Members are asked to bring a dish to share. Members and their families or a guest are invited to attend.

Please contact treasurer Ken Hughes ( hlazy4@oglecom.com ) or newsletter editor Joe Fornero       ( j4nero@thewisp.net ) in advance and let them know how many you are bringing so there will be enough chicken and onion rings.

After everyone has had their fill, Santa Joe will entertain with games and gifts. There will be a short meeting to discuss nominations for the election at our January meeting, before everyone heads home.

Membership renewal time!

It's time to renew your SCUG membership for 2015. Treasurer Ken Hughes will accept your dues payment (payment by check is easier for Ken) at the Chistmas party on December 6th or at the January meeting before the elections. If you can't make the meetings, you can mail your dues to the club at:

Sauk Computer User Group
P.O. Box 215
Sterling, IL 61081

The dues for one year are $20 for individuals and $26 for a family membership.

The Sauk Computer User Group is beginning construction of a new website and would like input from members. Please tell us what you would like to see on a new website by e-mail to Will at
